KUNIM CARE
Kumin Care is a continent-wide mobile health care initiative, to ensure every young person in Africa has access to sexual health services. We use mobile technology to TEST, TREAT and TRACK our service users; providing an entirely mobile system of primary HEALTH CARE. Beta testing of KunimCare App will begin in 2024.

L.A.Y.S.
Lifestyles of African Youth Study (L.A.Y.S) is a continent-wide RESEARCH project, intended to create accurate social profiles of young people in Africa. We use a participatory approach to collect data on sexuality, sexual behavior and sexual health. The L.A.Y.S. pilot will begin in March and run through December of 2024.

THE RED PARTY
The Red Party is an annual event aimed at increaseing HIV testing among young people in Africa and is the culmination of our year-long activities leading up to World AIDS Day. We provide rapid HIV testing through COMMUNITY OUTREACH. For those who get tested, the follow-up is a swanky night out, where we celebrate the courage it takes to get tested and CLAIM YOUR KUNIM!

PUBERTY RITES
Puberty rites are traditional coming of age ceremonies, where many African youth recieve culturally prescribed information on sexuality. We engage in CAPACITY BUILDING with traditional councils to participate in the education portion of these rites and ensure the information young people recieve not only includes sexual health, but is on par with school based sexuality education programs.

CLAIM YOUR KUNIM!
'CLAIM YOUR KUNIM!' is our inaugural mass-media CAMPAIGN, to promote sexual health among young people in Africa. We aim to create positive associations between sex and health, and cultivate a climate where the management of sexual health is viewed as a personal victory (KUNIM).
